For those working on their Tornado diaries: The key points raised in the video were -
1. In order to make a tornado you need three ingredients a. warm moist air, b. a cap (of warm dry air) to trap the warm moist air, c. wind sheer (and up-draft and down-draft to take horizontally moving winds vertical)
2. The two vehicles used by the storm chasers were the TIV (tornado intercept vehicle) and the DOW (Dopplar on Wheels).
3. On the TIV were anemometres (one that was sonic) and a sensor to take various meteorological readings.
