This week we will be continuing with our Geography in the News unit. It is your job over the next few weeks to find a great GITN item and do extensive research all about it.
Your mission:
1. Find the 5 W's and an H of your news item.
2. Try to break the information you gather into 3 subtopics
Social, Economic and Environmental impacts.
3. If you can, try to find out what the long and short term
effects of your news item may be.
4. Collect good photographs, maps and/or graphs and diagrams
to help explain all about your news item.
In July, you will be writing your own Geography in the News article as your last assessment. The above tasks must be completed before then. Good luck!
